3 STEP SKINCARE ROUTINE FT. FENTY SKIN

Okay so I've finally given my new Fenty Skin products some use! I'm usually not one to bandwagon something but it was a must that I support Rihanna in her venture. I love all that she and women like Beyonce do to create spaces and inclusion for black women of all shades, shapes, and sizes!

I recently purchased the FULL SIZE BUNDLE consisting of the Total Cleans'r Remove-It-All Cleanser, the Fat Water Pore Refining Toner Serum, and the Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen. What I love most about the Fenty Skin line is that they boast about their all natural products, sustainability, and cruelty free formulas. Each product is made to work with all skin types. The products battle a number of common skin concerns like enlarged pores, hyper pigmentation, dark spots, and dryness.

After using the products consistently, day and night, for the past week and a half I have come to form an initial opinion on the products. The Full Size Bundle is meant to be a complete 3 step skincare system that cleanses, tones, and hydrates skin of all textures and types. An important thing to note is that these products do have a fragrance to them. Although I find the fragrance to be quite pleasant, those that do not like fragrance in their skincare products may want to steer clear.

In order to properly review the products I decided to use them in the 3 step process recommended by Fenty excluding my additional regimen products. I felt that by doing this I could genuinely determine how the products worked by themselves.

Beginning with the cleanser, I really enjoy the consistency of the contents. There is just something about a thick cleanser that makes me feel like it is really going to capture all of the dirt, oil, and grime of the day in a single wash. The cleanser left my face feeling squeaky clean with a smooth and hydrated finish.

Moving on to the Fat Water Toner Serum. This is by far my favorite product in the routine. I had very high expectations for this product as it is what compelled me to buy the bundle. I recall seeing an eye catching ad of Rihanna using the product herself. As I was already on the market for a good toner. The Fat Water Toner definitely lives up to the hype. I did notice that it reduced the look of my pores and removed any excess dirt and oil. I find that it helps to significantly brighten and smooth my skin.

Finally, the Hydra Vizor Moisturizer. This may be my least favorite product of the bundle. The reason being, that I didn't find that it gave me a super hydrated feel that would last throughout the day. While I will continue to use this product as an SPF along with my usual moisturizer I would not use it by itself as a primary moisturizer.
